Why writing a blog when you should take your fat butt off the couch and exercise?????
I decided to dedicate an entire blog to my weightloss efforts. I've been dealing with my weight for many years. I never had a serious weight problem until after I moved to the USA. While I never had a serious issue with weight in the USA, I always thought I was fat. Those thoughts actually began about after the 3rd month here. I recall working and studying here being so painful because I was so busy comparing myself to others. I was convinced I was fat and ugly and I wouldn't listen to anyone who told me otherwise.
As an adult, I have to honestly admit that I think those thoughts/extremely low self esteem are a result of the depression and being away from my family. Working here is not easy. My job is extremely painful and it affects my mind as well as my body everyday. Babysitting american kids are the worst nightmare ever..They are spoiled and brats, parents dont give a shit for them and they grow thinking they can do and can have everything they want. I'm a victim of those kids. Anyway, this blog is not about being an au pair the in the USA..but it is about changing habits, a lifestyle diet and getting healthier...just like the brazilian way.
